MWKC are committed to the development of our junior programs and have pathways to more advanced groups. Our beginners group 10–12-year-old girls and boys learn basic paddling skills and techniques in a fun and entertaining way.
What is provided:
- An initial 2 free sessions to see if the child enjoys the sport.
- Special junior size paddles.
- PFD (Personal floatation devices). Mandatory for children under 12.
- A range of kayaks to suit their ability.
When:
- Saturday Morning
– 7.00 am to be on water around 7.15 am.
– 8.15 am off water.
– Parents/guardians maybe required to assist the child, or children, to get ready for the paddling session and at the end of the session to wash and pack away equipment.
